The objective of this activity was to generate a space for the exchange of experiences, contributions and proposals for drought risk management, resilience and climate adaptability in the Central American region.<\/p>\n<p>The event included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The presentation of nine academic essays on climate change and resilience, elaborated by the participants during the diploma course.<\/li>\n<li>The presentation of studies and proposals for guiding instruments for drought management from a preventive approach.<\/li>\n<li>The exchange of local practical experiences for drought risk management, resilience and climate adaptability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leaders of different regional institutions, such as CEPREDENAC and national institutions - El Salvador, linked to drought risk management in seven countries of the Central American region (Agriculture, Risk Management, Climate Monitoring and Food and Nutritional Security of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Belize and Panama, members of the Regional Concertation on Risk Management, leaders of academic institutions and other civil society organizations) participated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6312\" src=\"https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web.png 1800w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-1024x569.png 1024w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-768x427.png 768w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-600x333.png 600w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-1536x853.png 1536w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/asb-latam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/prueba-pagina-web-360x200.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evento final presencial del \u00abDiploma Regional sobre Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Sequ\u00eda, Resiliencia y Adaptabilidad al Cambio Clim\u00e1tico\u00bb.
