Intervention logic:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Impact:
\n<\/strong><\/em>Contribute to the end of hunger, food security, improved nutrition and the promotion of sustainable agriculture in the Maya-Chort\u00ed region, with a multidimensional approach<\/p>\n

Objetive:<\/strong>
\n<\/em>To increase and diversify agricultural production and income generation and strengthen community management of natural resources to improve the food and nutritional security of Mayan Ch'orti' farming families in 20 communities in the departments of Chiquimula and Zacapa, Guatemala<\/p>\n

Local partners:
\n<\/em><\/strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Regional Campesina Ch\u2019ort\u00ed (ASORECH)<\/p>\n

Outcomes:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Outcome #1:
\n<\/strong>Smallholder families have improved their food and nutritional security with the support of community organizations and the diversification of their sources of income.<\/p>\n

Outcome #2:<\/strong>
\nSmallholder families have improved food production through access to climate information and climate-adapted sustainable agriculture practices.<\/p>\n

Outcome #3:
\n<\/strong>The communities of the Maya-Ch'ort\u00ed area have structures and capacity for access and sustainable management of their natural resources (water and forests).<\/p>\n
