Alberto holds a degree in Sociology from the Central American University and a degree in Theology from the Evangelical University of Nicaragua. He also holds a Master's degree in Equality and Gender in the Public and Private Sphere from the University Jaume I, Castellón, Spain.
Since 2015, he has been working at ASB as Coordinator of the Inclusion Program. Previously, he has served as University Professor of the subject Gender, Economics and Development at the Central American University (Nicaragua), he has also worked for ACSUR and as UNISDR-CEPREDENAC liaison in a DIPECHO project. Alberto has led several consultancies in the areas of gender mainstreaming and protection of vulnerable groups, and integrated risk management.
