A one-minute video that shows how isolated Conacaste is, a small village in the mountains of the Municipality of Jocotán, Guatemala, whose population has been heavily affected by the droughts of recent years. With the financial support of the German government and together with our local partner ASORECH, ASB has reached out to help.
The ASB was founded in 1888 and is a non-profit, non-governmental, apolitical and non-denominational organization. The ASB is today one of the leading civil protection and welfare organisations in Germany. It also provides rescue services, first aid, emergency medical assistance, social care for the persons with disabilities, the elderly and children, and care for refugees.
