Guía Práctica para la Identificación y Uso de Datos de Discapacidad Basado en la Lista Breve de Preguntas del Grupo de Washington sobre Discapacidad (Lectura fácil)
Based on the experience of our networks (DiDRRN and GIRDDD LAC network), the Washington Group's short set of Questions has been really useful to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the context of disaster risk management and humanitarian response. In several countries, the government has adopted the Washington Group's short list of Questions in their periodic population censuses or surveys. There are already many resources related to the Washington Group's short list of questions. However, there was not yet a practical guide for the identification and use of disability data for risk management actors. From our networks, we would like to summarize key information related to the Washington Group's short list of questions, particularly with respect to their use in inclusive disaster risk management and humanitarian action.
