This basic guide, entitled "Your Rights Are My Rights Too," aims to provide basic tips and tools for human rights and development organizations to include the disability approach in their work (Part I). For a better understanding of this challenge, basic concepts and terminology concerning persons with disabilities are presented in Part II. In addition, it provides an overview of the situation of persons with disabilities in the world and in our region and describes the legal framework regarding the rights of persons with disabilities. Part II provides input and basic training on the rights of persons with disabilities.
