The ASB office in Hildesheim/Hameln-Pyrmont, the Helios Clinic Hildesheim and the DLRG Bezirk Hildesheim made it possible for around 1100 people over the age of 70 from the Hildesheim district to receive the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination at the Drive In Vaccination in the parking lot of the Helios Clinic over the weekend (April 24/25, 2021).
One by one, cars arrived at the four vaccination stations in time for their pre-booked appointments. " The vaccinated had to first identify themselves from the driver's or passenger's seat. This was followed by a medical consultation and then the eagerly awaited coronavirus shot in the upper arm. A subsequent control phase of about 15 minutes in the patient's own car in the parking lot was the conclusion of the individual vaccinations," explains the company's president and CEO Daniel Heinsch (ASB).
At the end of the two-day vaccination campaign, ASB CEO Bolko Seidel also drew a very positive conclusion from the vaccination and thanked everyone involved. "A weekend like the one we experienced cannot be taken for granted, it is an achievement of our community, of the cooperation of each and everyone involved. We have experienced an atmosphere that brings us together and this feeling of solidarity that should also expand for future actions."
