Gender and participatory monitoring
Through this activity, which took place on September 28, 29 and 30, the gender equity approach was promoted in order to establish relationships based on respect, equality and equity.
Workshop: Gender and participatory monitoring of the project: A future without hunger in the Maya-Chortí region, Guatemala workshop
Within the framework of the project "A future without hunger in the Maya-Chortí region", the board of directors, technical and administrative staff of ASORECH (Ch'orti' Regional Campesino Association) were trained in the use and application of gender and participatory monitoring tools, oriented to quality, impacts and participatory management approach of rural development projects.
Through this activity, which took place on September 28, 29 and 30, promotes the gender equity approach for the establishment of relationships based on respect, equality and equity among families served, stakeholders and the ASORECH team, in the projects implemented by the association.
The training concluded with the application and validation of participatory tools to mainstream the gender approach and monitoring with the intervention of families served by the project, in the community of Tizubín, San Jacinto, Chiquimula (Guatemala). This action was developed by ASB (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund), in coordination with ASORECH (Asociación Regional Campesina Ch'orti') with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
