ASB provides humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in Ecuador
Thousands of people have been left without a home following the earthquake that struck the coast of Ecuador on Saturday 16th April. ASB has immediately deployed staff and resources to the affected areas to provide immediate emergency assistance.
Through our partner organization Action Against Hunger, ASB has delivered this Saturday the first 100 hygiene kits to more than 500 people strongly affected by the earthquake that hit the coastal area of Ecuador on April the 16th 2016. The delivery has taken place in a temporary shelter in Sálima de Chamanga in the Canton of Muisne, the epicentre of the earthquake damage. During this week another 400 hygiene kits and water tanks and filters will be delivered to other communities. This will help reduce the risk of water and hygiene-related diseases.
